Mageia Trinity Repository Installation Instructions

1. Configure the URPMI repository (as root user)

For Mageia 4 (R14.0.0)

urpmi.removemedia trinity
urpmi.addmedia trinity http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity/rpm/mga4/trinity-r14/RPMS/$(uname -i)
urpmi.addmedia trinity-noarch http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity/rpm/mga4/trinity-r14/RPMS/noarch

For Mageia 5 (R14.0.1)

urpmi.removemedia trinity

and

urpmi.addmedia trinity http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity/rpm/mga5/trinity-r14/RPMS/i586

or

urpmi.addmedia trinity http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity/rpm/mga5/trinity-r14/RPMS/x86_64

and

urpmi.addmedia trinity-noarch http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity/rpm/mga5/trinity-r14/RPMS/noarch

2. Install the Trinity desktop environment

urpmi trinity-desktop

3. (Optional) Install your locale translation package, e.g for French translation

urpmi trinity-tde-i18n-French

Koffice translations:

urpmi trinity-koffice-i18n-French

K3B translations:

urpmi trinity-k3b-i18n-French

Note: you can obtain a list of available TDE packages with the following command:

urpmq -a trinity-
