I had errors with the guide, after installing the trinity repo it was giving dependency errors. Fixed by enabling one of the tainted repos on the software manager in one of the installed desktops. afterwards trinity-desktop and trinity-desktop-all both worked, a full reboot and then select TDE from the login screen
